Cannery Row is a new trio from the west coast of British Columbia. With diverse musical backgrounds but a common love of roots, folk, Latin, jazz and blues music, Cannery Row, has woven an eclectic mix of original tunes where one can hear the influence of Mardi Gras in New Orleans, the blues from Memphis & the Mississippi Delta (the land of Chuck Berry), Latin rhythms of Cuba & a sprinkle of the early roots of jazz. With three different singers, three different writers, three different musical journeys, what you have is a mambo gumbo that will get your toes tappin’, your hips shakin’ & your head lookin’ for a place to let it all hang out.
