He began learning the guitar from his musician father at age nine and eventually studied under the famous Flamenco guitarist Paco Serrano for two years. With influences as far ranging as Beethoven and Bach to Pat Metheny and flamenco masters such as Niño Ricardo, Vahagni has created a new style with a modern take on flamenco, which, according to him is, “something you have to feel to understand.” Come and feel the flamenco for yourselves in one of our most popular annual free shows. With Vahagni guitar, Artyom Manukyan cello/bass & David Sampaolo cahon/percussion
