Vancouver, Woodward’s
Once Vancouver’s premier department store, the façade of the legendary Vancouver institution was preserved when the lot was turned into a mixed-use complex. Take part in facilitated activities in the Woodward’s heritage building: build in the Lego pit, put your masterpiece on the map of Vancouver, give us your views on housing in a simple survey, and much more!
This year, as part of the Vancouver International Film Festival, SFU Woodward’s Cultural Programs and the National Film Board are offering Hidden Pasts, Digital Futures: A Festival of Immersive Arts. This entails three tours of Woodwards showcasing the best in interactive technologies. The three tours are: Circa 1948 (10 min) in the Woodward’s Atrium; and Place-Hampi+ (45 min) and Pure Land+ (45 min) nearby at SFU’s Goldcorp Centre for the Arts. All tours require pre-registration.
