Every Thursday from 3:00 to 4:30pm until October 8, 2020.
Artists of all ages and skill levels are invited to be inspired by the Arctic.
Each week, 12 lucky guests will experience the Arctic Voices exhibit, sketchbook in hand. With space to social distance, participants will create artwork with supplies brought from home.
About the Exhibit:
The Arctic may seem like a distant place, but it is deeply connected to the rest of the world. Human actions are causing rapid changes in the North, and understanding these changes is important for the future of the planet. Visitors explore the impact of changing climate in the Arctic through many voices, including animals and people who live there and the dedicated scientists revealing what makes this place so unique.
This exhibit will remind people about our role in protecting the planet, connecting to the City of Surrey Sustainability Charter.
Mask Wearing:
While not required, tour participants are encouraged to wear masks during their tours. Museum of Surrey masks are available for purchase for $6 plus tax.
Consider using the BC COVID-19 Self-Assessment Tool before coming to the museum.
