Crashing Angels: formed in 1999, consisting of band members:
Neil Park – Guitar, Vocals
Dean Marshall Pilkey – Vocals
Kent Benson – Bass, Vocals
Rob Queen – Drums
Pat Nevraumont – Guitar, vocals
The Crashing Angels were born out of a desire to play a unique brand of “Commercial Hard Rock” that they felt was missing in music today. Their sound can be described as hard rock, but with a twist.
Formed from the vision of Neil Park; whose first task was to find a singer/songwriter that could take the music to that higher level. Dean Marshall Pilkey was that singer. His talent of taking musical melodies and making them his own, complimented the writing style of Neil Park. Next on board were bass player Kent Benson who’s in the pocket approach gave the band its driving rhythms. With some changes to the line-up this year, the Crashing Angels were happy to recruit drummer Rob Queen who's flare and rhythmic offsets on the drums was exactly what the band was looking for when moving forward; and, Pat Nevraumont on guitar, allowing for the old tactical two guitar approach to rejuvenate the classic Crashing Angels sound.
The Crashing Angels are presently writing material for their third CD. They recently released Booster Shot on iTunes which consists of two new tracks, Steps Away and Fair Shake. Their current single Steps Away has been made into a video. The video and an EPK can both be viewed on Youtube. Steps Away is receiving air play on US and European radio stations.
In March of 2013, the Crashing Angels with Steps Away were the five night reigning champions on the “Rocktagon at 103FM The River Rocks” in the US. Their plan is to tour, and get their music out to as many people as possible.
Killing Vogue: Formed in 2013 Killing Vogue is a 4-piece hard rock band from Vancouver, BC. Nick Allen and Nick Rusby formed the core of the band after playing together for several years throughout their youth. A long time friend and fellow musician Paul Kim joined after some collaboration with other acts. Once the instrumental section of KV found their sound, Jarod Piett joined as the frontman. His unique melodies and rasp were an instant fit, finalizing the Killing Vogue line-up in February of 2013. The result was a sound that embraces the raw sounds of stoner and blues rock as well as the technicality of progressive rock. The tight rhythm section and long time friends Nick Allen and Nick Rusby provide a unique groove to highlight the smooth sounds of guitarist Paul Kim. Killing Vogue is known for high energy stage presence and hard hitting riffs that are sure to grab your attention.
Destructive Interference: We are Destructive Interference, a four piece band, with a self-described sound of Hard Blues Grunge Rock.
Members:
Charlie Cole - guitar/vocals
Derek Lionas - guitar/vocals
Adam Rosenberg - bass
Trevor Stockdale - drums
