Claudia, a lonely young woman, works in a supermarket. One night, she ends up in the hospital with a severe case of appendicitis. There, she meets Martha, the woman resting in the bed next to hers. Martha, who lives alone with her four children, gains Claudia’s trust. When she gets out of the hospital, she spontaneously offers Claudia to go home with them. Getting to know this family makes Claudia feel at ease. And for the first time she experiences a sense of belonging in this peculiar little tribe. As Martha’s health weakens every day the bond Claudia has with each member of the family grows stronger.

Claudia, joven solitaria que trabaja en un supermercado, termina en urgencias con apendicitis. Ahí conoce a Martha, la mujer de la cama de a lado, quien vive con sus hijos. Martha invita a Claudia a su casa y se vuelven amigas. Cuando Claudia descubre que la salud de Martha se agrava, comienza a crear una conexión con sus hijos.

Santiago y Eugenio, además de amigos, son socios de toda la vida en un negocio de electrodomésticos. Se entienden sin hablar, se complementan, se quieren, se necesitan. Pero, un día, Eugenio desaparece sin dejar rastro. Santiago comprende la gravedad del asunto cuando Laura (Inés Estévez), la mujer de Eugenio, entre desesperada y herida, le da la noticia. Santiago y Laura empiezan a buscarlo, pero, de pronto, se dan cuenta de que no quieren encontrarlo. El análisis de los conceptos de fidelidad y traición les lleva a la conclusión de que por encima de los pactos establecidos están los sueños.
