A classic holiday performance reinvented with a twist. Families and kids of all ages can enjoy Arts Umbrella Dance Company’s modern and engaging retelling of Tchaikovsky’s “The Nutcracker”. Mixed Nuts is more than just a ballet, with a variety of dance styles from hip-hop, to ballroom, to the classic grand pas-de-deux.
This year features old favourites and new pieces choreographed by leading Vancouver and Canadian dancers including Ballet BC and Kidd Pivot company members.
The fun-filled show is specially suited to Metro Vancouver families and those in the dance community, including professionals, students and instructors.

In accordance to the new BC PHO mandate, we will be selling tickets to this event at full capacity.
- All patrons must be masked for the entire event.

- Patrons over the age of 18 must have government ID that matches their proof of vaccination. Patrons ages 12-18 do not need government ID
