The Woodward’s window holiday displays have been a popular tradition in Vancouver ever since they first made their debut in the old Woodward’s department store back in the 1950s. You will also find a magical holiday lighting display, including Canada’s north light display and the festive Avenue of Christmas Trees. If you happen to be in the area at night, you will see the Sails of Light, a festive light display on the iconic Canada Place sails.

To Market, to Market: Now that everyone has had a bite to eat, it’s time for the fun to continue! Located at Jack Poole Plaza is the Vancouver Christmas Market, a traditional market that brings festive Old-World charm to Vancouver each and every year. Enjoy an authentic Christmas Market experience whilst taking a stroll through a European-inspired Christmas village in the crisp winter air. Here, you can also ride the Christmas Carousel or take a walk through Lovers’ Lane great for the little ones and the young at heart. It’s always a special way to finish off a holiday tradition!
