Vancouver, VanDusen Botanical Garden | Event calendarCost: $70.00
Description:
Build on your understanding of photography principles, and explore speed and lighting effects. Using traditional techniques such as shooting in black & white, you will dive deeper into what makes a great photograph and why. During the class, you will have the chance to go outdoors to the Garden and capture winter scenes from your unique point of view; the class will finish with a feedback session.
This class is for people who have taken class #1 or have previous knowledge and experience to develop their skills.
Bring your camera with a USB cable, empty memory card, user manual, and your lunch. Cell phones are fine. This class is primarily focused on working towards better composition in your creative practice, rather than strictly technical content. To avoid issues with RAW files in the critique session, please shoot with jpeg files.
The class takes place in the Guides Classroom at VanDusen’s Visitor Center. Please dress for the weather, rain or shine.
Online pre-registration is required.
