Concert Experience with Food Vendors
Bring your own chairs or blanket and watch headliner Dan Mangan and Carmanah perform on the TD Community Plaza Stage overlooking beautiful Lafarge Lake. The Town Centre Park concession by Rocky Point Ice Cream will be open, and other food trucks will be onsite.
Carmanah: 6 – 7 p.m.
Like the ancient forests from which their name derives, Carmanah is just as comfortable in muddy, bluesy funk as they are among light, soaring harmonies. The band has crafted a niche of its own somewhere between roots, rock and soul —a vintage blend of the intuitive and technical tied seamlessly together by Laura Mina Mitic’s dazzlingly versatile voice.
Intermission: 7 – 7:30 p.m.
Dan Mangan: 7:30 – 9 p.m.
Dan Mangan is a two-time JUNO award winning and two-time Polaris Music Prize listed musician and songwriter. He lives in Vancouver, British Columbia with his wife and two sons. He has released five studio LPs on Arts & Crafts and toured extensively in North America, Europe and Australia.
