Thanks to all the dancers who donated to our Sunday Afternoon Salsa fundraising campaign, we actually went over our fundraising target. With the additional donations we are organizing another free event at Robson Square and it’s going to be on a Saturday night!
We’ve had requests from dancers for a more Bachata-focused event, so Bachatmor Robson is going to feature a music mix of 80% Bachata and 20% Salsa. Expect to hear a mix of all styles of Bachata music.
- INTRO BACHATA LESSON with Baza Dance at 7:00-7:30pm.
If you’ve never danced Bachata before, come and try the free lesson and learn why this dance has become so popular world-wide.
- SOCIAL DANCING 7:30pm-11:00pm
DJ Velvet (Wayne) and DJ Stephen will be taking turns swapping out at the controls playing short sets of five songs each to keep the energy up for dancers and provide a well-rounded musical experience encompassing all styles of Bachata music.
