Presented by the Global Peace Alliance BC (GPA). Our yearly “Give Peace a Chance” festival for the International Day of Peace follows the UN’s theme this year: “End Racism, Build Peace”.
We are very excited to showcase the talents of singers and dancers bringing to you our diverse cultures, all in the spirit of peace, love and nonviolence. You will hear inspiring speakers and activists for a better world, and a panel discussion on ending racism.
Speakers
Keynote speaker: Kachina Melinda Bige, from Kwantlen Nation and the Indigenous Chair at Kwantlen University. She will speak to the Intersections of Truth and Reconciliation and Anti-Racist Action towards Peace.
