Born in Alberta and raised in Kansas, Little Miss Higgins now makes her home in Manitoba where she juggles performing and parenthood. For over 15 years, she has performed, toured, collaborated, recorded and released five independent albums featuring her unique brew of early country blues, jazz and folk. Her music has won three Western Canadian Music Awards and received JUNO, Maple Blues and Canadian Folk Music Awards nominations. Her latest collection, “My Home, My Heart” remains true to Higgins’ roots, but ventures into new territory.
