Spirit of the Children Society will host a pipe ceremony at Westminster Pier Park to honour the lost children and survivors of residential schools, their families and communities.
Please wear your orange shirt.
All ages are welcome to this free family event. Out of respect for the event, please no drugs or alcohol.
The day will include:
3 - 4 pm - Ceremony
4 - 6 pm - Children and family time

The National Day for Truth and Reconciliation is on September 30, 2022. It is a day of public awareness and commemoration of the tragic and painful history of residential schools in CanadaThis day is also meant to bring about education of the rich cultural traditions of Indigenous Peoples across Canada and in our local communities.
