‘Sport Without Limits’, the inaugural Masters Games in the Pan-American region will take place in Vancouver, Canada in August 2016. This 9 day event is open to competitors from around world who meet the minimum age requirement of 30 years. This event is designed to complement the World Masters Games and create a regular opportunity for Masters athletes to compete in the Americas region.
Event Dates: August 26th – September 4th, 2016.
All participating athletes will be able to take part in the inaugural Americas Masters Games opening ceremony to kick off the event. As well, each participant is eligible to partake in the closing ceremonies at the conclusion of the games.
The Masters games is about having fun and being social. That’s why organizers have planned official concerts and events throughout the 9-days to encourage a celebration of lifestyle and camaraderie amongst competitors.

The Americas Masters Games is being organized by Sport BC with the support of the City of Vancouver, Vancouver Hotel Destination Association, BC Pavilion Corporation, and Tourism Vancouver. Local sport organizations will be delivering the field of play and competition details for their sport.
The sporting events are being held at venues throughout and around the city of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. For a full list of sport schedules and event locations. All ceremonies will take place in downtown Vancouver.
