Nora En Pure In Concert
Globally renowned and adored for her cinematic soundscapes and ethereal performances, South African-born, Swiss-based Queen of Deep House, Nora En Pure, has spent the last few years working relentlessly to reach the pinnacle of the dance music scene. Proving her eminence with every performance, playing stand out shows at the likes of Coachella, Burning Man, Tomorrowland, Panorama NYC, Daniela Di Lillo is a true force with an indomitable work ethic and an eye for immaculate detail.
Seamlessly connecting disparate sounds and styles, Nora En Pure’s name has become synonymous with organic instruments, emotive piano leads and enchanting melodies. Nurturing her Purified brand with precision, Purified Radio has blossomed into a weekly show, premiering every Saturday evening on SiriusXM Chill and delivering an hour-long dose of the finest deep, melodic and tech house music. Curating lineups and hosting sold-out Purified events across the world in Miami, New York, San Francisco, Palm Springs, Zürich, Prague, Purified has welcomed the likes of Pete Tong, Gorgon City, Kidnap, Moonwalk, Eelke Kleijn and Sonny Fodera behind the decks. Launching Purified Records, the imprint will work hand in hand with the events label, releasing music from hotly tipped talents that also work their magic in live Purified editions.
2009 saw the beginnings of Daniela’s musical career, releasing her debut productions via the Enormous Tunes and Tokenish imprints, as a core member of Zürich’s Helvetic Nerds group. 2013 saw Nora En Pure’s breakthrough track ‘Come With Me’ catapult her into the spotlight, garnering extensive support from industry greats and sparking wide interest in her sound. Blessing the sound waves with countless fan favourites like ‘Morning Dew’, ‘Lake Arrowhead’, ‘Tears In Your Eyes’, ‘We Found Love’ and ‘Birthright’, Nora En Pure’s impressive production output has led her to create official remixes for the likes of dance music royalty Faithless, Eelke Kleijn and Sofi Tukker. Her 2016 BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix helped solidify her reputation and she has secured residencies in some of the most iconic dance music spots, including Wynn Las Vegas and Privilege Ibiza. Winning the award for Best Female Artist (House) and receiving a nomination for Best Podcast/Radio Show for Purified in the IDMA Awards 2019, there is no telling what 2021-22 will bring, but it is set to be unprecedented.
Mark Knight is a DJ, producer and remixer hailing from Kent, England who was born on June 27th, 1988. Since debuting he has found success as both an artist and as the founder of Toolroom Records, a label that he leads to this very day.
It's safe to say that Mark Knight is something of a prodigy in the world of electronica. At the age of 13 he was making his first forays into DJing, playing a regular slot at The Source, a local joint in his native Maidstone years before he'd ever be able to get in without the aid of fake I.D. Thanks to the success of those slots he was tapped by Ministry of Sound to be one of their residents in 2003, the same year that he and his brother Stuart hunkered down in their parents' tool shed and began work on what would later become Toolroom Records. Over the next decade, Knight and his label became massively respected for their celebrated versions of classic productions, most notably his 2008 version of Laurent Garnier's “Man With The Red Face”.
Thanks to his collaborations with icons like Faithless and Underworld, The Black Eyed Peas contacted him to work on their 2010 record “The END”, which was a multi-platinum hit and netted Knight his first ever Grammy nominations for Album Of The Year and Best Pop Vocal Album. Since then, he has remained one of the electronica world's most in demand producers and remixers, working with everyone from Calvin Harris to Tiesto along the way. He's also responsible for the first breaks of many an up and coming producer thanks to his continued work in Toolroom, and since he's cultivated the kind of career that people would kill for before he's even reached 30 years old, Mark Knight's still got the world at his feet, and his best days ahead of him. Highly recommended.
