We associate love and Valentine’s Day with red, but what does the colour red actually mean in the Universe?
Spend an enchanted evening with us as we transform the Planetarium Star Theatre into a starry soirée for Valentine’s Day. Enjoy drinks, appetizers, and activities at this 19+ event.
During a presentation in the Planetarium Star Theatre we will delve into our Red Universe, and take an interactive journey into the cosmos to explore some of the red planets, stars and nebula that the universe has to offer.
There will be time to explore the exhibit space in our Cosmic Courtyard, and take in a live science demonstration in the GroundStation Canada Theatre before and after the presentation in the planetarium.
EVENT SCHEDULE
6:30pm: doors open
6:30pm – 7:45pm: Buy a drink, and explore the Cosmic Courtyard Gallery exhibit space. Live science demonstrations will be running every 30 minutes in the GroundStation Canada Theatre.
8:00pm: Planetarium Star Theatre Presentation
9:00pm – 10:00pm: Last call for drinks, explore the Cosmic Courtyard Gallery and watch a live science demonstration in the GroundStation Canada Theatre.
