Latincouver, in partnership with the Vancouver International Film Festival, is proud to present Latin American Film Night, a celebration of the Latin American film industry. This year, we will present the movie UNA MADRE.
UNA MADRE (A Mother) is a movie that explores mental health and family relationships.
After the death of his father, Alejandro decides to rescue his mother from an asylum where he believes she was confined by her family unfairly. The son desperately tries to bring his schizophrenic mother back home.
The aim is to share cultural values identifying how the society react to some states of mind and how we could support and educate ourselves.
