Marc Atkinson is a renowned JUNO-nominated, world-touring musician celebrated for his guitar repertoire. He is also the leader and composer of the Mark Atkinson Trio, a Canadian West Coast acoustic instrumental group. The Trio has toured worldwide, including North America, England and Europe. They have been praised for their talents with standing ovations at highly-acclaimed festivals such as the Montreal Jazz Festival, the Vancouver International Folk Festival and DjangoFest Northwest.
Cameron Wilson has been playing with the MAT for many years now. He brings virtuosity. humour, beautiful melodies and energy to the group. Cameron Wilson is an artist whose works showcase the many genres of music he has become associated with both as a composer and performer. As a violinist/fiddler, Cameron has appeared on the recordings of Bryan Adams, Denzel Sinclaire, Nickleback, Charlotte Diamond, Jeremy Fisher, Karin Plato, Spirit of the West and Raffi. He was also featured on the soundtrack of the Lonesome Dove TV series. Cameron is currently a member of the classical crossover piano trio, Joe Trio, the acoustic string jazz quartet, Van Django, the Hard Rubber Orchestra, The Marc Atkinson Quartet, The Wahs, Mariachi del Sol, and francophone trio Pastiche. He is also a regular extra with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra and Vancouver Opera Orchestra.
