Our program honours the sacrifices of so many who have paid, and continue to pay, the ultimate price in wars near and far, past and present. We also pay tribute to the resilience of and spirit of civilians who have endured and overcome the hardships of conflicts. The program set includes:
- Tell My Father (from "The Civil War", a 1998 American musical)
- Amazing Grace
- Peace Song
- Bring Him Home (from Les Miserables)'
- Finlandia Hymn (Jean Sibelius)
- Ose Shalom (The One Who Makes Peace, based on a traditional Hebrew text)
- A medley of Vera Lynn songs
and more.
Program length approximately 1 hr 45 min, with one 15 minute intermission. Seating is unreserved. Free parking at the church. Transit access by bus #601 from Bridgeport Canada Line Station.
