The Austria Vancouver Club is a cultural centre in Richmond. Founded by eighteen Austrian immigrants more than fifty years ago, the club proudly continues Austrian traditions on the west coast. The club is for and run by its members. The general public, however, are welcome to attend its events.
The cultural centre has traditional European decor. It features a big hall with a small raised stage, more than thirty tables, a dance floor, kitchen and a bar. During their Oktoberfest events especially, you can picture yourself in a real Austrian community hall! It’s a neat place!
This is dinner and dance events. They begin at 6:00 pm and feature live music by Al Pichler and the Alpiners. There are also performances by AVC Edelweiss Dancers.
Admission to each event costs $40 for members and $45 for guests. Each ticket includes an entrée that’s available until 7:30 pm. Beverages and additional food cost extra.
