Welcome to the Wonder Gala, a breathtaking event hosted by the BC Lung Foundation that promises an unforgettable evening of wonder, philanthropy, and boundless generosity.
Proceeds from the evening will support Carter’s project.
An initiative in honor of Carter Vigh, a nine-year-old boy who lived bravely with asthma – and died this summer, due to poor air quality in 100 Mile House. The nearest air quality monitoring station was 100 km away; the skies were clear, but the air over 100 Mile was, invisibly, very poor. His parents did everything right when his asthma attack occurred, but the local hospital was unable to save him.
Carter’s Project will fund the free distribution of air quality monitors throughout British Columbia, in honor of him as well continue to increase the scope of Carter’s P
