We invite you, along with over 200+ industry professionals and community leaders to listen to our panel of peer-leaders, Vancouver Poet Laureate Fiona Tinwei Lam, and our keynote speaker, Melanie Mark discuss builiding inclusive communities.
Melanie was the Minister of Advanced Education, Skills and Training, and the Minister of Tourism, Arts, Culture and Sport in BC. Previously a Member of the British Columbia Legislative Assembly for Vancouver-Mount Pleasant, Melanie will be attending and discussing housing and security, followed by a Q&A session with opportunity for group discussion.
The Megaphone Breakfast exists to honour our Vendor of the Year, a vendor who demonstrates leadership, community building, and Megaphone’s mission. This year, we will be including the Angel Gates Memorial award in honour of an incredible vendor and community pillar who we lost this year. This award will be given to a vendor who exemplifies Angel’s positivity, creativity, and spirit.
Tickets include a catered breakfast, beverages and ample time to network with community and industry leaders!
