Vancouver Chamber Music Society: Vancouver Cello Quartet & Nathan Chan

The Vancouver Cello Quartet is a group of four accomplished cellists who have taken the classical music scene by storm. Lee Duckles, Luke Kim, Cristian Márkos, and Kevin Park’s unique and innovative approach to music have created a truly captivating and immersive experience for audiences across the Lower Mainland. The quartet’s seamless blend of virtuosity, passion, and ensemble playing has garnered them a dedicated following.

Joining the quartet is Nathan Chan, praised for his “profound technical gift and… his mastery of musical narrative.” His multifaceted cello career encompasses solo, chamber music, and orchestral performance, fueled by a passion for connecting people through music and technology. He currently serves as the Assistant Principal Cello of the Seattle Symphony.
