Join us Virtually or In-person in 2023! Every year, thousands of passionate Canadians dedicated to making a difference join the Santa Shuffle to help The Salvation Army support vulnerable people. This year will be no exception. We are excited to announce that the Santa Shuffle will be available for both in-person and virtual attendance this year for a meaningful, safe, and fun run/walk on Saturday, December 2nd.

The 2023 Santa Shuffle will be packed with new surprises such as new pledge incentives, best-dressed contests, updated medal and shirt designs, and more!

The Salvation Army in partnership with The Running Room will be hosting four national Santa Shuffle contests for you, your family and friends to participate in!

The Santa Shuffle began 33 years ago in Edmonton, Alberta, to fundraise for local Salvation Army initiatives when local Running Room members decided to use their passion for running to raise money and support the less fortunate in their community. In 2001, the Santa Shuffle became a national event with locations in every province in Canada.

Today, . Participants fundraise throughout the season to make a difference in their community. On event day, participants are encouraged to wear their funkiest festive running attire for a day of laughter and fun. After the event, each participant is rewarded a finisher medal to celebrate their accomplishment.
