I Dream Library and the Vancouver Art Gallery invite you to celebrate the release of Imagine a Garden—a Kid Lit book of poetry and art that shares seven real-life stories of ordinary people doing extraordinary things for their communities amidst war, poverty and violence. Join us for an afternoon that builds tangible connections to poetry, encourages discussion about activism, and offers tools to reimagine our complex world through the lens of love and compassion.
Suitable for ages 5 and up. Activites are all free with Admission or for Members.
- Walking Sessions inspired by Pedro Reyes at 11 AM and 1 PM
- Imagine a Garden’ Reading Sessions with @iDream_Library at 12 PM and 2 PM
- Drop-in Open Studio from 11 AM to 4 PM
