Participants will be given a teardrop pattern to work on with the colours of transgender flag. All materials will be provided. Please note that this workshop is open to anyone who is new beading!

OLIVER MCDONALD
Oliver was born in North Vancouver, BC and has lived his entire life by the coast. He is a member of the Peguis Nation, and identifies as a two-spirit person. Currently, he lives in Vancouver, where he continues to create.
“West Coast Cree Creations is the representation of complicated identity. I’m a Cree person, yet I was raised on the coast. Seas and mountains are my home. I strive to learn about my ancestors back in Manitoba, and to connect with my elders. My art celebrates the balance between where I grew up on the west coast, and my cultural roots of Cree heritage.”
