Strange Tides is the principal creative project of multi-instrumentalist and songwriter, Kirsten Bale. In the music of Strange Tides, instruments are coaxed into a musical conversation which embodies ideas stated more explicitly in her carefully crafted lyrics. Kirsten’s tendency to allow songs to mull over a period of months results in a sonic and poetic experience which strikes the listener as both thoughtful and profoundly honest. Strange Tides started as a folk-rock act, and has been influenced by brit-rock, folk, and pop-rock. However, Kirsten’s insatiable drive to explore new instruments, chord patterns, time signatures, and genres means that the listener never grows bored.

Zoey Leven is a songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and independent artist from Vancouver, BC. She is mainly influenced by indie pop/rock bands such as Peach Pit, Wallows, and darker sounds like Arctic Monkeys. Zoey hopes to create a voice for the LGBTQ+ community with her lyrics full of nostalgia and young love, as well as navigating life in their 20's.

Sunny & The Dudes is an indie-rock band from vancouver, canada; captivating audiences through strong imagery and story-telling, blended with danceable melodies and energy, curated for both lovers of modern and classic alternative rock.

The band is composed of 4 members; Sianne Petrisor, affectionately known as “Sunny” (bass), David Valade (lead vocals and guitar), Matthew Porteous (vocals and keys), and Braeden Hage (drums). Their soulful dance rock is inspired by a vast range of artists and influences, new and old.
