Sit back in the Planetarium Star Theatre and join us for a magnetic-themed Cosmic Listening Room for Valentine’s Day. Enjoy dreamy visuals accompanied by a curated playlist of pop hits. We will also have drinks, appetizers, a special guest lecturer, and activities at this 19+ event.
Journalist Cristiano Pereira will be joining us remotely from the Northwest Territories to share his photographs and videos of the Aurora Borealis. Our astronomer Marley Leacock will be on hand to share where the Auroras come from, and where you might be able to see them for yourself!
There will also be time to explore the exhibit space in our Cosmic Courtyard, and take in a live show about magnetism in the GroundStation Canada Theatre.
Beer and wine will be available for purchase.
This is a 19+ event. All attendees will be required to provide photo ID upon entry.
NOTE: The Planetarium show may contain flashing lights that may be unsafe for those with epilepsy or light sensitivity.
