There are many ways to be a family and no two are alike. While it might seem like human families have many differences, they’re very normal in the overall animal kingdom!

Self-guided activities: Negotiate like a barn owl chick or keep all of the fox kits fed at self-guided stations around the building!
Facilitated activities:
10am – 12pm: Egg Exchangers– Navigate the Centre like a Brown-headed Cowbird in search of a nest and discover their unique approach to laying eggs while on the move.
12pm – 2pm: Storytime – Listen to Bird Boy by Matthew Burgess followed by a craft.
2pm – 4pm: How Do We Know? – Practice your observational skills as you investigate some of the many ways we learn about animal behaviour.
