Mike Nassichuk claims he was raised in a vegetable patch and credits his parents as being his foremost vegetable gardening teachers. He is a UBC graduate with degrees in Biology, which provides a scientific context to his gardening interests. He is a qualified Master Gardener, has also completed the Advnanced Master Gardener program, and is a recipient of the VanDusen Garden “Award of Distinction”.
