Gain coordination skills, self-defence, teamwork, and discipline while engaging with music, singing, playing, musical instruments, and the Brazilian Portuguese language. This workshop includes a short demonstration from the instructor followed by a basics intro to Capoeira.
Capoeira is an African-Brazilian martial art, created originally as a fight for freedom. Africans in Brazil incorporated capoeira, dance, acrobatics, and musical elements to protect their patricians and assure their legacy. Today, capoeira is an international sport, spreading across more than 120 countries!
Open to Families and all ages *PLEASE NOTE there are two sessions available: 2:00-2:45pm will be the children's ONLY session. 2:45-3:30pm will be adults ONLY session (your children may stay with you and watch). All children under 5yrs must be accompanied by an adult.
