Curious audiences are invited to explore the future of film, performing arts, XR, gaming, virtual production and more. From professionals working in the industry to youth tech wizards – there’s something for everyone. Co-presented by DigiBC and the Vancouver International Film Festival (VIFF), this year’s expo from October 3-12 explores our connection to land, history, and human rights while confronting issues from authoritarianism to AI ethics.

An evening of spontaneous performances that activate the exhibition space, transforming installations into stages for unexpected encounters. Artists respond to and reimagine the showcased works through live interventions, creating a carnival of connection between performers, technology, and audiences.
