Revocation:
Revocation was formed in 2006. Spearheaded by Davidson, the group issued Summon the Spawn’s three-song demo. Word spread quickly that a new powerhouse was emerging from the Northeast. When Revocation issued their self-released debut album, Empire of the Obscene (2008), extreme metal was officially on notice. Since then, they’ve released six critically-acclaimed albums and toured over 25 countries, bringing their technically-charged, high-energy extreme metal to rabid fans in North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific. Netherheaven is Revocation’s latest impressive barrage. With tracks like “Diabolical Majesty,” “Nihilistic Violence,” “Godforsaken,” and “Re-Crucified,” spotlighting the inimitable vocal talents of Trevor Strnad (The Black Dahlia Murder) and George ‘Corpsegrinder’ Fisher (Cannibal Corpse), the gifted threesome aren’t holding back.
Judiciary:
Balancing traditionally timeless grit with 21st century gusto, Judiciary hammer out hardcore grooves at breakneck thrash speeds. The Texas quintet—Jake Collinson [vocals], Juan Vazquez [bass], Austin Looney [drums], Jimmy LaDue [guitar], and Israel Garza [guitar]—wield a searing signature style unlike anything in heavy music. With calculated intensity, it bludgeons without compromise, draws back for a breath, and strikes again even harder. Citing influences such as Slayer’s God Hates Us All and Chimaira’s The Impossibility of Reason as well as “a ton of Machine Head,” Judiciary perfected their blend of metal and hardcore on the 2023 second full-length record, Flesh + Blood [Closed Casket Activities]. Flesh + Blood was recorded and produced by Arthur Rizk [Power Trip, Cavalera Conspiracy] in August of 2021 before GRAMMY® Award-winner Will Putney [Body Count, Vein] handled mixing and mastering, and has since received the praise of Stereogum, Revolver, BrooklynVegan, Invisible Oranges, and more.
Inferi:
Formed in 2006, INFERI is an American technical melodic death metal band forged from the depths of Nashville, Tennessee. Upon their resurrection in 2011 like a phoenix from the ash, the 2014 release of “The Path of Apotheosis” spread like wildfire gaining worldwide attention. That legendary flame was soon fueled by the thunderous firestorm of their 2018 release entitled “Revenant”. Featuring legends such as Trevor Strnad from The Black Dahlia Murder and the shred god James Malone from Arsis, “Revenant” landed at #26 Hard Rock albums and #28 on the Billboard’s Heatseekers charts solidifying them as a household name in the underground technical death metal scene. This led them to embark on several tours across the world with bands such Rivers of Nihil, Archspire, Shadow of Intent, Signs of the Swarm, Brand of Sacrifice, Obscura, and more.
