At this event, you can:
- Hear drumming from Kwantlen, Katzie, Semiahmoo, Pow Wow, African and South Asian traditions
- See performances by Edward Sembatya of Mdundo Arts and Sunny Uppal of Dhol Nation
- Listen to stories from Indigenous knowledge keepers
- Share a free Coast Salish meal
The project was developed with local First Nations and Indigenous knowledge keepers. Its goal is to help Indigenous and newcomer communities get to know each other, learn more about Indigenous histories and cultures, and take part in reconciliation.
This event is free and family friendly. Registration is required and space is limited. Some transportation support is available.
