Waves. Warmth. Wonder
Text, staging and interpretation by Mamby Mawine and Hélène Ducharme
A Motus and Djarama Co-Production
Every drop of water tells a story. In Water Words, water connects two friends living worlds apart. Meet Mamby, whose feet burn on the hot sands of Senegal as she walks to gather water, and Hélène, whose toes tingle in winter boots in Canada’s snowy abundance. In this visually stunning production, their vast differences fuel a shared imagination.
“I think that water transmits everything we say. Water understands all languages.”
“An ode to wonder.” – Jeu revue de theatre
