Concert 1:
An evening of music for jazz trio, acompanied by a selection of exquisite cheeses from "les amis du FROMAGE" and fine Syrah wines from BC, France and Australia. Che syrah!
Alan Matheson is a vancouver-based pianist, trumpeter, composer and arranger who leads his own big band, nonet, septet and trio. He has written arrangements for jazz legends Clark Terry and Bud Shank, and his newest recordings include "Duetti" (2013) and "Summer Evening" (2015). Completing the trio at this concert are Craig Scott (vibraphone) and Bruce Meikle (bass).
Tickets: $125 each, including a tax-deductible donation of $100
