The Bergmann Piano Duo performs a programme with some of their favourite works for piano duet, including Schubert’s famous Fantasy in F minor, Mozart’s Fantasy for a Musical Clock Work, and excerpts from Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker Suite and Bach's Christmas Oratorio.
The Series Elizabeth and Marcel Bergmann—known worldwide as the Bergmann Piano Duo—are famous for their razzle-dazzle playing and their uniquely eclectic programs. Extraordinary performers, welcoming hosts and entertaining storytellers, this husband-and-wife team bring their magical touch to this intimate and casual concert series. The concerts are presented in the Studio Theatre after a social hour in the lobby—with coffee, tea, and delicious goodies. The musicians are usually available for a chat after the performance.
