Enchant is the world’s largest Christmas Light Maze, made up of over 55,000 sq. ft. of brilliantly illuminated sculptures arranged to create the perfect atmosphere for an evening adventure. Along with the maze, Enchant features a market with over 50 local vendors to meet all of your holiday shopping needs, as well as 14 food trucks and a licensed eating area where guests can enjoy their favourite holiday drink. With a community fire pit, a stage with local performers, and a VIP Lounge as well, this unique holiday event is guaranteed to be the highlight of your Christmas this season. Enchant is created by SHINE, a Vancouver-based Christmas lighting company. Designed to be an all-inclusive, family-friendly winter event, this event has something for everyone. Enchant is partnering with several local charities this winter, including Variety - The Children’s Charity, Ronald McDonald House BC, Canuck Place Children’s Hospice, Backpack Buddies, and Music Heals.
Located at 1st Avenue and Crowe Street, in-between the Cambie Street bridge and Olympic village, Enchant is easily accessible with the Canada Line skytrain station and several bus route within walking distance. There will also be on-site parking and a secured bike storage area.
The Maze
The Christmas Light Maze is the main attraction at Enchant this winter with over 55,000 sq. ft. of professionally designed and illuminated light sculptures. A children’s Christmas story was written to set the stage for the maze: a snowstorm hits the North Pole not long before Christmas. During the storm, the reindeer get lost and end up in the light maze. Children young and old around the world are asked to come search the light maze for the missing reindeer and help save Christmas!
There are 7 different worlds to explore as you search through the maze for all nine custom-built reindeer sculptures. Other highlights include a staggering 64 foot tall tree, illuminated with over 85,000 LEDs, a forest of custom fabricated 20 foot tall LED trees, stars, caves, tunnels and ice crystals, all professionally designed by Shine Lighting Group Inc. The entire maze will be made up of hundreds of thousands of lights, and will take between 20-30 minutes to complete. And the best part? Santa will be waiting for you when you finish the maze!
The Market
The Enchant Christmas market has something for everyone. The market itself will feature a variety of local Vancouver vendors, showcasing the talent in our city and offering a wide range of handcrafted goods, perfect for all your holiday shopping needs.
There will also be 14 of Vancouver’s favourite food trucks, many offering specialty holiday items to dine on. The Eatery is a covered eating area that will have a bar for those of-age to enjoy their favourite holiday drinks like mulled wine, specialty coffees, seasonal craft beers and more.
To complete the evening, guests can warm themselves by the community fire pit, or enjoy various local performers on stage. Eat, drink, explore and shop - expeience the wonder of Enchant!
The VIP lounge
Enchant will also be home to the VIP Lounge, the most unique Christmas party venue in the city. The VIP Lounge at Enchant is the perfect venue for hosting your holiday party this Winter. Guests can enjoy a private lounge with a beautiful atmosphere where they can relax, socialize and celebrate in style.
The VIP Lounge will be beautifully decorated for your party, include a private bar for your guests, and include VIP access into the light maze. Groups can choose between enjoying the food trucks in the Enchant market or catering from Cocktails and Canapes. Live entertainment by Tanya Gallagher during your evening is the perfect way to complete a magical evening.

Enchant Storybook: The Great Search
Enchant will debut a children’s Christmas storybook, written by Leanne Johnston and illustrated by Sebastian S.C. The story follows the aftermath of a disastrous snowstorm that hits the North Pole not long before Christmas. Santa wakes up to see the town buried in snow and his reindeer missing! Realizing that his reindeer are lost in the light maze, Santa asks for all the children, young and old, around the world to come help search the maze to find all nine missing reindeer and to help save Christmas.
