The Cindy Yang Dance Academy/Association of Canada was established in 1990. It is the only academy in North America that teaches Chinese 56 Ethnic Minority Dance. The Academy’s mission is to: spread dance learning, disseminate Ethnic Minority dance, provide professional dance training, give dancers room to learn, explore, perform and compete, showcase skill-demanding choreographies and Ethnic fashion. Students have competed in dance competitions in Canada and US and received close to 300 gold trophies that represent pride for not only the Academy but also for Canada.
